Move Staged Kits to Production

Once a kit has been staged and prepared, you can move it to production.

You can move a single kit to production, or you can move multiple kits to production.

You can also remove a kit from production.

Move a single staged kit to production

1. Choose the icon, enter Kits, then choose the related link.

2. On the Kits page, open the staged kit you want to move to production.

3. Move a line to production.

   1. In the Lines FastTab, select the Staged line you want to move to production.

   2. Select Functions > Move to Production.

      A Production line is created and the items are moved to the bin defined on the production order.

4. Move multiple lines to production.

   1. Select Home > Move to Production.

      A Production line is created for all of the Staged lines and the items are moved to the bin defined on the production order.

   You can now consume the kits.

Move multiple staged kits to production

When the kits in a staging order have been staged, you can move multiple kits to production at once.

1. Choose the icon, enter Material Staging Orders, then choose the related link.

2. On the Material Staging Orders page, open the order you want to move to production.

3. On the Material Staging Order page, select Kit > Move Kits to Production.

   A Production line is created on the Kits page for all of the Staged lines and the items are moved to the bin defined on the production order.

   You can now consume the kits.

Remove a staged kit from production

You can remove the entire kit from production or remove a single kit line. Removing a line from production moves the items back to the staging bin.

1. Choose the icon, enter Kits, then choose the related link.

2. On the Kits page, open the staged kit you want to remove from production.

3. Remove all of the Production lines from production.

   1. Select Correct > Remove from Production.

4. Remove a single Production line from production.

   1. In the Lines FastTab, select the Production line you want to remove from production.

   2. Select Functions > Correct > Remove from Production.

The Production lines are removed and the items are moved back to the staging bin set for the component in the production order.
