Consume the Kits

Once a kit has been moved to production, you can consume the kit contents.

You can consume a single kit or multiple kits.

Consume a single kit

You can consume a single line or multiple lines.

1. Choose the icon, enter Kits, then choose the related link.

2. On the Kits page, open the kit you want to consume.

3. Consume a line.

   1. In the Lines FastTab, select the Production line you want to consume.

   2. Select Functions > Consume.

      A Consumption line is created and the items are removed from inventory.

4. Consume multiple lines.

   1. Select Home > Consume.

      A Consumption line is created for all of the Production lines and the items are removed from inventory.

Move multiple staged kits to production

When the kits in a staging order have been moved to production, you can consume the kit contents.

1. Choose the icon, enter Material Staging Orders, then choose the related link.

2. On the Material Staging Orders page, open the order you want to consume.

3. On the Material Staging Order page, select Kit > Consume Kits.

   A Consumption line is created on the Kits page for all of the Production lines and the items are removed from inventory.
