Add Information to Quality Inspections
You can add information to a quality inspection by attaching files, writing notes and comments, adding urls, and adding pictures.
Information can be added to new, active and finished quality inspections.
Attach files
Choose the
icon, enter Quality Inspections, then choose the related link.
On the Quality Inspections page, select the inspection to which you want to add information.
On the Quality Inspection page, select Inspection > Attachments.
On the Attached Documents page, select Attach Files.
Drag or select the file you want to attach.
Select Close.
The file is now attached to the inspection.
Attachments remain associated with the quality inspection as its status changes.
If the Copy Attachments to Reinspections toggle is turned on from the Quality Inspections Setup page, then the attachments will be copied to the new reinspection.
Attachments will not be copied to additional inspections.
View an attached file.
In the Attachments FactBox, in the Attachments part, select the attachment count value.
On the Attached Documents page, select the file name to download it to your local device.
Add comments
Choose the
icon, enter Quality Inspections, then choose the related link.
On the Quality Inspections page, select the inspection to which you want to add information.
On the Quality Inspection page, select Inspection > Comments.
On the Comment Sheet page, select New.
Populate the following fields:
Field Description Date Select the date. Comment Enter the comment. Close the page.
The comment is now associated with the quality inspection.
Comments remain associated with the quality inspection as its status changes.
Comments will be copied to reinspections and additional inspections.
Add a comment to a test line.
On the Lines FastTab, select a line.
SelectLine > Comments.
On the Comment Sheet page, select New.
Enter the date and comment.
Close the page.
Add notes
Choose the
icon, enter Quality Inspections, then choose the related link.
On the Quality Inspections page, select the inspection to which you want to add information.
On the Quality Inspection page, in the Attachments FactBox, in the Notes part, select the + symbol.
On the Add a note page, enter the note.
Select OK.
The note is now associated with the quality inspection, and is visible from the Attachments FactBox.
Notes remain associated with the quality inspection as its status changes.
Notes will not be copied to reinspections or additional inspections.
Add links
You can add a link to a quality inspection for any URL.
Choose the
icon, enter Quality Inspections, then choose the related link.
On the Quality Inspections page, select the inspection to which you want to add information.
On the Quality Inspection page, in the Attachments FactBox, in the Links part, select the + symbol.
Note
If you do not see the Links FactBox, you need to add it.
1. Select the Settings icon > Personalize.
2. Select the highlighted Links part, and select Show.
3. Select the Done button.On the Add a link page, populate the following fields:
Field Description Link Address Select the date.
The link must be a valid URL.Description Enter the comment. Select OK.
The link is now associated with the quality inspection, and is visible from the Links part in the Attachments FactBox.
Links remain associated with the quality inspection as its status changes.
Links will not be copied to reinspections or additional inspections.
Attach images
You can attach the following types of files: .jpg, .jpeg, and .png.
Choose the
icon, enter Quality Inspections, then choose the related link.
On the Quality Inspections page, select the inspection to which you want to add information.
On the Quality Inspection page, in the Details FactBox, in the Details FactBox, in the Pictures part, select Pictures > Import.
Drag or select the file you want to attach.
The file is now attached to the quality inspection.
Pictures remain associated with the quality inspection as its status changes.
Pictures will not be copied to reinspections or additional inspections.
View an attached file.
