Overview
The Purchasing Restrictions app allows you to define the items and quantities that you can purchase from a vendor. When a purchasing restriction is applied to a vendor or order address, only the specified items can be ordered, unless an item is marked as unrestricted. Orders must also follow the defined minimum and maximum quantity limits defined in the purchasing restriction.
Key features
Permitted Items: Specify the items you are allowed to order on a purchase order, blanket purchase order, purchase quote or purchase invoice.
Unrestricted Items: Mark items that can always be purchased from any vendor, even if purchasing restrictions apply.
Quantity Limits: Set minimum and maximum quantity limits for items on a purchase order, blanket purchase order, purchase purchase or purchase invoice.
Vendor Restrictions: Apply restrictions to vendors or order addresses.
Release Prevention: Block the release of purchase order lines with blank quantities.
