Split a Package
You can split a package, and move the items into one or more different packages.
If the Warehouse License Plating app is installed, you have the option of assigning a default package number.
From the Home screen, select Packages.
Select Split Package.
On the Split Package screen, populate the following field:
Field Description Scan Package No. Enter the number of the package you want to split. Select Split Package to define how to split the package.
If applicable, select the Forward arrow to move to next item line in the package.
The Page # of # indicates how many lines are in the package.
Populate the following fields:
Field Description New Package Enter the number of the new package.
Select the Assign Package button to assign a package number based on the number series on the Inventory Setup page.

Select the Assign Default Package* button to assign the default package number set up on the Inventory Setup page.
*Requires the Warehouse License Plating app.New Quantity Enter the number of items to move to the new package. If you move to another line in the package without posting, your changes will not be saved. You need to select Post to apply the changes.
Select Post to add the items to the new package.
Tip
You can press
or tab off of the field to post. The History button in the top left corner displays the total number of items that were moved out of the package for the item line you are on.
Select the History button to see the details of the new package(s). The history is only for the item line you are currently on.
If applicable, repeat the steps to split the selected item further.
If applicable, select the Forward or Back arrow to move to a different line in the package, and repeat the steps to split a different item line.
