Set Up Component Items
To automatically consume items from a production order, you need to add a flushing method to the items being consumed.
Choose the
icon, enter Items, and then choose the related link.On the Items page, open a component item.
On the Item Card page, in the Replenishment FastTab, populate the following field:
Field Description Flushing Method Select when the component will be automatically consumed.
Forward: If a component does not have a routing link code, then the prioritized items are automatically consumed when the production order is refreshed.
Backward: If a component does not have a routing link code, then the prioritized items are automatically consumed when the production order is finished.
