Set Up Business Central

In order to import data from FoodChain ID, you need to ensure the data exists in Business Central. If the data does not exist, the import will show an error and no data will be imported.

Ensure the following data exists:

  • Units of Measure: Any unit of measure being imported must exist in the Units of Measure page in Business Central.

  • Country: Any country being imported must exist in the Countries/Regions page in Business Central. The value in the Name field must match the country in FoodChain ID to allow the data to be converted to the Business Central code.
