View FoodChain ID Data
You can view the FoodChain ID data for items and production BOMs.
To view the item specifications, see View Item Specifications.
View FoodChain ID data for items
Choose the
icon, enter Items, and then choose the related link.
Tip
You can show only FoodChain ID items by selecting the Show filter pane icon and then by selecting FoodChain ID Items from the Filter view.
On the Items page, the following fields are displayed:
FoodChain ID Code: Code of the item in FoodChain ID.
FoodChain ID Template: Template that determines the type of item in FoodChain ID.
On the Items page, open an item.
On the Item Card page, in the General FastTab, the following field is displayed:
- FoodChain ID Code: Code of the item in FoodChain ID. Select Show more if the field is not visible. The value can be changed if needed.
View FoodChain ID data for production BOMs
Choose the
icon, enter Production BOMs, and then choose the related link.
Tip
You can show only FoodChain ID items by selecting the Show filter pane icon and then by selecting FoodChain ID BOMs from the Filter view.
On the Production BOMs page, the following field is displayed:
- FoodChain ID Code: Code of the recipe in FoodChain ID.
On the Production BOMs page, open a BOM.
On the Production BOM page, in the General FastTab, the following field is displayed:
- FoodChain ID Code: Code of the production BOM in FoodChain ID. Select Show more if the field is not visible. The value can be changed if needed.
View the version information.
Select Versions.
On the Prod. BOM Version List page, select a version.
On the Production BOM Version page, the following field is displayed:
FoodChain ID Code: Code of the production BOM in FoodChain ID. Select Show more if the field is not visible.
Recipes and finished good recipes are imported in alphanumerical order, which can sometimes cause a production BOM to be created that contains blank component lines. See Production BOM not fully populated to see how to fix the issue.
