Assign Allergens

You can assign allergens to items.

1. Choose the icon, enter Items, and then choose the related link.

2. On the Items page, open the item to which you want to add allergens.

3. On the Item Card page, select Related > Item > Allergens.

   You cannot add allergens if the item is associated with a production BOM. Any allergens need to be added to the BOM components.

4. On the Item Allergens page, populate the following field:

   Field	Description
   Allergen Code	Select the allergen to associate with the item.

5. Select Close.

   The allergens are now associated with the item and are listed in the Allergens FactBox.

   Allergens carry over to BOMs if any components contain them and to items made with those BOMs.
